New Year, fresh Ice
As Mother Nature prepares to usher in Winter, we've got the ice ready for all your curling requirements.

April is packed with thrilling events at the Simcoe Curling Club, starting with an evening of dinner and live entertainment by local talent Felicia McMinn on April 4th.

The competition heats up on April 7th with the Evening Open CYO Club Championship, followed by the Evening Mixed CYO Club Championship on April 9th. Both events kick off at 6:00 p.m. and are planned to be filmed for Eastlink Community TV.

Finally, on April 11th, wrap up the season with a Closing Dinner and Turkey Shoot

Come out, cheer on your favorite teams, and celebrate the spirit of curling in Simcoe this April. We can't wait to see you there!

Join us Friday April 4th for a night of curling, dinner and live music. Local talent Felicia McMinn will be performing... Dinner sign up closes April 2nd by 8:30 at the club.

Come join us for a fun filled night of curling, great food and live music.

On Friday April 11th, after the games are completed, join us for a Turkey Shoot

$2.00 per rock, open to all SCC members.

What is a Turkey Shoot: A frozen turkey is placed in the middle of the Arena. Rocks are delivered from each hack (no sliding) with the goal being closest to the turkey.  Once all the rocks are delivered, the person whose rock ended up being closest to the turkey wins and takes the frozen bird home.

Great fun to play and watch.

As part of the kitchen renovation, we are looking for people who would be interested in helping with the demolition of the cabinetry.

We are looking at installing a wall covering over the north and south walls, which may see the need for drywall repair in addition to assisting with the installation of the wall covering material.

The doorway into the kitchen does need to be expanded to allow for the removal of the oven. We are looking for people with carpentry skills to assist with this.

As you may have heard, we are renovating our kitchen in the off-season and with that, we have two fundraisers to help offset costs of this project.

Tickets are available at the bar, 1 ticket for $10, or 3 tickets for $25.

The jersey will be drawn on April 7th, Club Championship night

The second fund raiser is through the National Sports Trust Fund. Donations can be made via the link below
