Simcoe, September 17, 2024 — The Simcoe Curling Club is proud to announce that it has been awarded a Community Development Grant by Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities (Jumpstart). Â
Awarded in September 2024, this Community Development Grant will significantly enhance the Club’s ability to deliver high-quality programming for youth in our community. Specifically, funding provided by the grant will be allocated to supporting young athletes and fostering inclusive sport experiences within the Simcoe Curling Club community..
“We are thrilled to be recognized by Jumpstart,” said Craig Thompson, President of the Simcoe Curling Club. “This grant will allow us to expand our programs and provide better support for all our young athletes, regardless of their background or abilities. We look forward to the positive impact this funding will have.”
Designed to support organizations that provide essential programming for youth in financial need or with disabilities, Jumpstart's Community Development Grants are awarded based on the quality and eligibility of each application. Simcoe Curling Club is honored to have been selected for this prestigious support.
