Curl & Chill

The Curl & Chill event at Simcoe Curling Club provides a unique opportunity for new curlers to get out on the ice.

During the half hour to an hour, our coaches will be on the ice to provide instruction and help you get started. During the next hour and a half, everyone will be split into teams of 4 and play a short just-for-fun game against each other.

After the on-ice activities, it’s time to warm up with a beverage! Join us in the clubhouse curling lounge for socializing, something that curlers do very well.

You MUST register online in advance.

You must sign up and pay as individuals as SCC requires acknowledgement of our Release Forms (waivers) by all participants. Spectators are welcome but do not need to register.

A few things to note before arriving:

• Our bar accepts cash, debit, and credit.
• Arrive between 1:30pm and 2pm.
• Carry in a clean pair of indoor rubber soled shoes with absolutely no dirt or sand on the bottom. You cannot wear the street shoes, that you wore to this event, on the ice.
• Arrive dressed to curl wearing warm, layered, loose-fitting clothing.
• Gloves are a good idea.
• Brooms and all other necessary equipment will be provided.
