Code of Conduct -Discipline and Complaints
What It Is
If someone breaks the Code of Conduct or behaves inappropriately, this policy explains
how the club handles complaints fairly and respectfully.
If Something Goes Wrong...
Any member can report an issue—write to a board member within 14 days of the
incident.
There are two possible ways complaints are handled, depending on how serious
the issue is.
Minor Incidents Might Include:
Disrespectful comments
Breaking a club rule
Mild physical contact (like shoving)
More Serious Issues Might Include:
Harassment or abuse
Repeated violations
Criminal behavior
Dangerous pranks or substance abuse
What Happens Next
A trained Case Manager or our Discipline Committee will review the complaint.
You might be asked to attend a hearing (but minors don’t have to).
Sanctions can include warnings, suspensions, or removal from
activities—depending on the situation.
Can You Appeal?
Yes. If you feel a decision was unfair, you can ask for it to be reconsidered or appealed
through the club’s appeal process.
Confidentiality Matters
Complaints are kept private. Only those directly involved will have access to details
unless the club must share a decision with other organizations.
